How a lesson works

Short sessions of 8–15 minutes — in a queue, on the bus, between tasks. Each lesson moves from recognising words to building your own sentences.

1

Hear the word in a sentence

A new word never hangs alone: it comes in a voiced example, so you remember both the sound and the context.

2

Understand the rule

Examples first, then a short explanation in your language — no long tables up front.

3

Practise step by step

Recognise, choose, fill in, build a sentence, then write it yourself.

4

Lock it in and move on

A checkpoint at the end of each unit checks your progress and unlocks the next one.

What's different

Bulgarian is easier than it looks

No cases to memorise, and a Cyrillic alphabet you can read within a day. The tricky parts — the article at the end of the word, moving stress, the sounds ъ and щ — get exercises of their own.

Explained from your language

  • short explanations in your own language;
  • separate exercises for the sounds ъ and щ;
  • the definite article that attaches to the end of the word;
  • false friends and stress that moves.
